Yichang, central China’s Hubei Province, was listed among Top 10 Chinese cities with best business environment, together with Chengdu, Xi’an, Qingdao, Ningbo, Changsha, Wuxi, Tangshan, Mianyang and Zhuzhou, according to a recent ranking by Global Times.
“The list is based on several elements, including media attention, investment environment, government policies, cultural environment, and experts’ votes.” said Wu Jie, deputy editor-in-chief of Global Times.
As a major city of Hubei Province, Yichang has made unremitting efforts to upgrade its business environment and has experienced a rapid economic development. 15 Yichang companies entered the list of 2014 Top 100 Hubei private enterprises, which was released on August 21.
