M. Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, French ambassador to China, led a delegation of over 100 French enterprises investigated the Sino-French Wuhan eco-city on Feb.1, 2016.
At present, there are around 1,000 French working and living in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province.
M. Maurice Gourdault-Montagne said that, Wuhan city occupied a special place among French. And the cooperation between Wuhan and various French sectors was a good example of Sino-French cooperation.
Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City aims to build a more beautiful, more convenient, cleaner and more energy-efficient place, and is of demonstration significance to both countries and the world.
So far, six French-invested enterprises such as Electricite De France (EDF) have settled in Sino-French Wuhan eco-city.
