First Sino-Israeli joint-stock civil aviation maintenance enterprise inaugurated in Yichang

Bedek Lingyun (Yichang) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd, the first Sino-Israeli joint-stock civil aviation maintenance enterprise, was officially inaugurated on January 7 in Yichang City of central China’s Hubei.

It marked that the general aviation industry in Yichang is taking off with a global vision. During the opening ceremony, Lingyun Group and the Bedek Aviation Group of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) signed the joint venture contract, while Yichang municipal government also signed strategic cooperation agreements with Three Gorges Airport, IAI and Lingyun Group.

With investment of 1.8 billion Yuan, the Lingyun aircraft maintenance base under construction in Yichang general aviation industrial park could have a complete aircraft maintenance capacity of 120 every year, and the annual output value of aircraft maintenance, manufacture and refit could reach 1.5 billion Yuan.
