PSA Peugeot Citroen sets up operations headquarters in Wuhan

PSA Peugeot Citroen has signed a contract with the city of Wuhan recently.

PSA Peugeot Citroen is a French manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles sold under the Peugeot, Citroen, and DS Automobiles brands.

With the signing of the contract, the China and Southeast Asia operations headquarters of the world famous car manufacturer officially settled down in Wuhan.
The China and Southeast Asia operations headquarters evolved from the Asia operations center established in Shanghai in 2010. Here in Wuhan, the headquarters will be responsible for PSA Peugeot Citroen's business development in China and Southeast Asia, specifically in terms of partnership and cooperation, marketing strategy, products planning, research and design, and resource development.

Cooperation between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Wuhan will be further enhanced in the fields of intelligent cars, driverless cars, and car sharing economy.

Automobile industry is one of Wuhan's leading industries, with an annual production capacity of 3 million cars. Major car enterprises include Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Honda, Dongfeng Renault, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, and Shanghai GM.

The establishment of Wuhan's headquarters will help increase the city's prominence as an automobile city, one with a greater influence on the world's automobile industries.
