Philippe Le Houérou is Executive Vice President and CEO of IFC
Yichang municipal government signed a PPP memorandum of cooperation with International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Beijing on July 6, 2016. This is the first time that IFC participated in a Chinese local PPP project.
Both sides will carry out cooperation in many fields such as transportation. According to the memorandum of cooperation, IFC will join Yichang Bureau of Finance in the designing, government investment consultation, capacity building of the PPP project. Besides, activities including lectures and investigations will be held in the fields of education, medicine, transportation, environmental protection, food safety, etc.
Philippe Le Houérou, EVP and CEO of International Finance Corporation, said that the IFC wished to develop more PPP new models that suit China‘s national conditions through the cooperation with Yichang.
