Faurecia, world's third - largest auto parts group, started construction its second plant in Caidian District of Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province on June 12, 2016.
In 2012, Faurecia set up its first factory in Caidian, mainly providing automobile seats to the automotive brands like Benz, BMW, Audi, Nissan, Peugeot, Citroen, Volvo, Renault, Volkswagen and GM.
It was introduced that this new plant is dedicated to the manufacture of seat components with an investment of 400 billion yuan
Apart Faurecia's plant, three projects of automotive parts, two projects of new energy vehicles and a complete vehicle manufacturing project also started in Caidian.
