The heavy cargo port of Wuhan Yangluo Port was put into trial operation on December 16. Its greatest lifting capacity amounts to 600 tons, ranking No.1 among the ports along the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
Built by Wuhan International Container Co., Ltd, the Yangluo Heavy Cargo Port boasts of a total investment of 237 million yuan with a yearly throughput capacity of 870,000 tons. It is known as a significant public infrastructure that take responsibility in over weight cargoes in Hubei province and even China’s central region.
After being operational, Yangluo Heavy Cargo Port could help its nearby companies, like Siemens, Alstom and Wuhan Steel Structure Co., Ltd to deliver overweight products.
