About 20 companies and institutions of China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm), one of the world's top 500 enterprises, will enter Guoyao Building in Optics Valley. The signing ceremony was recently held at Biolake, the Wuhan international bio-industry base in Optics Valley.
Sinopharm is the largest Chinese medical and healthcare group. It ranked 276th in Fortune Magazine's top 500 and 7th among pharmaceutical enterprises on the list in 2015.
The businesses of Sinopharm companies to settle in Biolake will cover pharmaceutical and medical equipment logistics and distribution, medical engineering design, animal healthcare, medical scientific research and development, and medical personnel training.
