23 Wall Street executives visit Wuhan

At the invitation of Shane Tedjarati, president of Honeywell emerging regions, 23 heads of major Wall Street firms as Morgan Stanley, Barclays Bank, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank etc, arrived in Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province on June 14, 2016.

They were invited to examplify China's economic restructuring and innovation vigor for development, with a bid to increase investment in China. Taking Wuhan as the representative of the inland cities, the economic development and innovative startups of the city and Optical Valley has attracted great attention.

The group visited FiberHome, YOFC and Honeywell plant, as well as exchanged views with leaders of the East Lake High-Tech Development Zone. Once back to the US, the studies on this visit will be published.

It was introduced that the Wall Street executives will visit four cities in China, except for Wuhan, the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou. (hubei.gov.cn by Ruan Xinqi)
