Samsung establishes its central China branch in Wuhan

Samsung (China) Investment Co. Ltd established its central China branch on August 26 in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province.

In recent years, the South Korea-based electronics giant Samsung has saw continuously expanded business in China. Its central China branch, with headquarters in Wuhan, will mainly be in charge of business management in Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Jiangxi, etc.

South Korea has always been an important foreign capital source of Hubei Province, with 83 South Korea enterprises making investment in Hubei by July, 2014.

As a dominant field of Samsung Group, Samsung Electronics has become one of the largest manufacturers of consumer electronics and electronic components. Since electronic information is Hubei’s pillar industry, there exists a high integrating degree between Samsung and the industrial development of Wuhan. (hubei.gov.cn by Mao Huifang)
