7 overseas Chinese investors recently investigated the Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City in Caidian District of Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei province, local media reported.

On Mar 26 this year, China and France signed an agreement, pledging to co-build a Sino-French eco-city in Wuhan. At present, the eco-city was decided to be settled in Houguan Lake area of Wuhan’s Caidian District, covering an area of 30 square kilometers.

This was the first time Sino-French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration City welcomed overseas Chinese investors since it acquired construction approval.

The group of investors investigated the planning of the eco-city, and initially explored the industrial distribution, development status and ecological environment of Caidian District. One of the overseas Chinese hoped to build an investment group for the overseas Chinese in Europe here.
