Central China’s first international business incubator, V+ & Founders Space, was established at Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), Hubei province, on Dec 15.
Located in Optics Valley Capital Tower, V+ & Founders Space has already begun trial operations and is currently providing services for more than 20 startup companies.
V+ & Founders Space was jointly launched by a company providing financial services in Optics Valley of China and Founders Space, which is a Silicon Valley-based firm and a world-leading business incubator and accelerator –– ranked a Top 10 Incubator in Forbes Magazine and Inc. Magazine.
The business incubator established in Optics Valley of China will integrate resources from the zone and Silicon Valley, to help the zone’s companies go global.
Steve Hoffman, who founded the Silicon Valley-based firm, visited Optics Valley of China and delivered two speeches to share his experience, and to provide advice to the zone’s entrepreneurs.
At present, 56 business incubators and accelerators have been set up in Optics Valley of China, of which, 17 are State-level incubators.
