Honeywell’s Wuhan plant put into operation

Honeywell Turbo Technologies celebrated the grand opening of its new turbocharger plant in Wuhan on September 3, 2014.


The Wuhan plant of Honeywell was put into operation on September 3, 2014 in Wuhan East Lake High Tech Development Zone, central China’s Hubei Province.

It is Honeywell’s second turbocharger factory in China, and the Group’s first industrial investment project in Hubei. While Honeywell’s Shanghai factory only produces diesel engine turbochargers, the Wuhan factory will focus on the manufacturing of gasoline engine turbochargers.

Registered and founded on February 15, 2012, the Honeywell Turbo Technologies (Wuhan) Co., Ltd provides services for Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen, JMC, etc. The annual output is estimated to reach 600,000, with an estimated annual output value of 62 million U.S. dollars. The annual output is predicted to reach as much as 2 million within 5 years.
