Wuhan Optical Valley E-sports Alliance who is dedicated towards promoting Wuhan in the e-sports industry launched on May 8, the Hubei Daily reported.
The goal of the alliance is to advance the development of e-sports and its relevant industries.
The non-profit organization will create a platform to connect companies and individuals interested in e-sports, integrate resources of e-sports and related industries, release information to its members and cultivate professional talents.
Initial members of the alliance include Hubei Daily Media Group, Tencent, Wuhan Mengjing Technology Co Ltd, Hubei Century Network Technology Co Ltd, Wuhan Douyu Network Technology Co Ltd and Wuhan Ngame Science and Technology Co Ltd.
The alliance will accelerate e-sports industry’s industrialization and standardization, integrate e-sports and related industries, and form an industrial agglomeration effect in Wuhan, Hubei Province, promoting its development on e-sports and its related enterprises.
