Bluefire invests $435.8 million to develop Pakistan’s energy market

Wuhan Optics Valley Bluefire New Energy Co signed a cooperation agreement with Pakistan Agricultural Research Council in Optics Valley, Wuhan on April 16. They will cooperate in building a China-Pakistan biological energy research laboratory and developing the R&D and engineering application of biogas integrated systems.

Optics Valley Bluefire is a well-known new energy environmental company in Hubei province and has been awarded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The company has also donated 500,000 yuan worth of biomass energy biogas systems and equipment, which will be placed in different climatic zones.

At present, the batch of equipment has already been produced and is set to be transported to Pakistan. In the coming years, Bluefire will invest 3 billion yuan ($435.8 million) in developing Pakistan’s energy market which will help solve local residents’ electricity problems.
