The Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe (Han Xin Ou) 2014 Expo was held on Dec.2 in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province.
The Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe (Han Xin Ou) 2014 Expo was held on Dec.2 in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province. Agreements were signed with the value of cargo exceeding 2.2 billion U.S. dollars.
The Expo attracted 260 participants from 100 enterprises around the world, including four overseas logistic and freight transportation enterprises from Switzerland, Belarus, Kazakhstan, etc, and domestic export companies such as Dongfeng Motor, AOC, Foxconn, Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, etc.
Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe freight transportation railway, the first trans-continental freight channel connecting Europe and Wuhan, has departed 26 times since it resumed operation on April 23, and now it runs once every week. 1782 TEUs of cargo with value of 200 million U.S. dollars have been exported through Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe freight train, including electronic products of AOC and Foxconn, finished automobiles of Dongfeng Motor and optical cables of YOFC.
Wuhan Han’Ou international Logistics, the operator of Wuhan-Xinjiang-Europe freight train, plans to increase three exporting trains to Alma-Ata, Moscow and Poland in 2015, and add trains to Western Asia and France when necessary.
