A delegation headed by İnan Kıraç, chairman of Turkey’s Karsan Group, arrived in central China’s Hubei on August 26 to carry out investigations for automobile production project.
After Karsan’s project is settled in Xianning, Hubei Province, the annual output is estimated to reach 50,000 vehicles, with an estimated yearly output value of 10 billion Yuan (US$ 1.61 billion).
As the largest automobile group in Turkey, Karsan Group boasts advanced experience and strong R&D capability in the production of commercial vehicles and special vehicles.
Hubei is a major auto province in China with favorable environment and conditions for the development of automobile industry. The cooperation between both sides can improve the automobile industry chain in Hubei and promote adjustments of automobile industrial structure.
Founded in 1966, Karsan is a large-scale comprehensive enterprise based in Bursa Province of Turkey, with business scope covering automobile, textile, commerce and trade, finance, consultation and design, among which automobile manufacturing accounts for 68 percent. (hubei.gov.cn by Mao Huifang)
