Optics Valley releases rules on reform

Optics Valley of China released a series of rules on reform at a news conference on June 22 in Wuhan, Hubei province.

Reporters from 27 media outlets attended the conference, witnessing the release of the 30 rules on reform. They also gave suggestions for the reform and development of Optics Valley.

Chen Yongwen, secretary of the Party working committee of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone, delivered a speech at the news conference, which was hosted by Dan Changchun, deputy secretary of the zone’s Party working committee.

The 30 rules include investment policies, policies that support entrepreneurship and innovation, and also governmental innovation policies.

There are 10 investment policies, which mainly focus on optoelectronics, intelligent manufacturing, new energy environmental protection and the modern service industry.

The investment policies will attract more renowned businesses from both home and abroad to invest in OVC.

The 10 polices that support entrepreneurship and innovation are called the “10 New  Golden Rules”. They specify new rules for entrepreneurship and innovation.
The government affairs rules have provided detailed regulations to reduce government procedures and improve their efficiency.
