The Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK), one of the three major state-owned banks in Korea, officially set up in Wuhan, the capital city of central China's Hubei Province on October 23.
It is the first branch bank established by IBK in central and west China.
Hubei's provincial governor Wang Guosheng met with the governor of IBK and said that Hubei will create a good development environment and help to speed up the development of IBK Wuhan branch.
IBK Wuhan Branch is the seventh branch bank it established in China, aiming to provide financial service for Wuhan local small and medium-sized enterprises.
So far, the foreign banks in Hubei have amounted to eight, with the largest number, the biggest business scale and the highest profitability level in the central regions.(hubei.gov.cn)
