Costco, the second largest USA retailer, officially settled in Optics Valley bonded commodity display and trading center in Wuhan Eastlake Free Trade Zone.
Wuhan will be the only officially authorized free trade zone of Costco in mainland China. Covering 200 square meters, the first-phase business area of Costco will open in early August.
As introduced, Costco will provide nearly 200 kinds of USA commodities, covering food, daily use chemical, infant & mom, clothing, shoes and hats. And the commodities will be added to 1,000 kinds in 2016. Besides, Costco will also carry out cross border e-commerce business.
Founded in 1976, Costco Wholesale has branch stores covering 9 countries around the world including USA, Britain and Japan.
