0.2mm glass realizes mass production in Yichang, Hubei

0.2mm glass, the thinnest in the world, has realized mass production in Yichang, central China’s Hubei Province.

The production of 0.2mm ultra-thin glass is a world class challenge. Its success means a great breakthrough of China’s ultra-thin glass production technology, and marks that China has reached leading level in the world in this industry.

It can be widely applied in industrial production such as tempered glass, cover plate glass, ITO conductive glass and people’s daily life including mobile phones and computers.

After the mass production of 0.2mm ultra-thin glass in Yichang, the output can satisfy the demand in national market and the domestic price is expected to be reduced by 20 percent to 30 percent.
