Rheoforge (China) Co. signed an agreement with Wujiashan Taiwan-investment Industrial Zone on October 17 to invest 1 billion Yuan (US$ 163.4 million) to set up 8 aluminum wheel forging lines in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province.
With a total land area of 216 mu and 200 to 300 employees, the forging lines are expected to be put into production in October 2015. Its annual output is estimated to reach 1.6 million, generating an annual value of 3 billion Yuan (US$ 490.2 million).
Founded in 2004, Rheoforge Co. Ltd of Korea is mainly committed to develop the aluminum forging production system for the truck & bus wheel. It manufactures world-leading aluminum forged wheel, widely recognized by its Asian and European customers, such as DAF, Daimler AG, Isuzu JidÅsha Kabushiki Kaisha, Mitsubishi Motors and TATA Motors.
