Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley) and Ofo, one of the biggest bike-sharing service providers, will cooperate in building intelligent zone transportation.
As urban traffic continues to develop at an increasingly rapid rate, the commuting problem for Optics Valley enterprise staff has essentially been resolved. However, industrial parks usually cover a large area some distance from bus stops, and the interior walking paths are quite long. The zone has thus decided to introduce an Ofo bike platform and has taken advantage of social resources to solve the “last 1 kilometer” problem.
Through strategic cooperation, Ofo will place a considerable number of bikes across all the industrial parks of Optics Valley, which will be operated and maintained jointly by Ofo and the Zone itself.
